BRM Announces Records Management Talk Show

Business Records Management is pleased to announce the creation of Inside the Records Room, a radio/internet talk show dedicated to the promotion and education of records management.  The program is directed toward document management professionals as well as consumers, and will find solutions for the records management challenges of today's environment.

Inside The Records Room is produced by The FX Organization in New Jersey, and will air weekly on WNJC 1360 AM in Sewell, NJ starting Tuesday, December 4, 2007, from 8:00pm-9:00pm EST.  The show will also be broadcast live on the internet at:

Inside the Records Room will be interactive.  Listeners will be encouraged to call in to the show for live on-air discussions, and will also have a voice in the program's content and direction.  The goal is to address the pain-points that the listeners face in their day-to-day operations of their records management programs.  Email the host of the show with your suggestions for the show content you would like to hear. All records management topics will be considered.

The host of Inside The Records Room will be Ray Davis.  He has 16 years of records management experience acquired by working for a multi-state banking organization with locations from Connecticut to Florida.  Ray oversees the operations of their records management program, which was an in-house program servicing 28 locations in 1991, and isnow a fully out-sourced program servicing 460 locations in 2007.  Ray also has a background in purchasing, which assists him in the records management process, as proper vendor evaluation is one of the keys to operating a successful records program.  Ray is the Vice President of the Liberty Bell Chapter of ARMA based in Philadelphia, PA, and is a member of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).
