Business Records Management Partners With Susan G. Komen
For The Cure to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness
Pittsburgh, PA – Business Records Management (BRM), a leader in records and information management in Pennsylvania, has partnered with the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer with the “Miles for a Mission” program.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. BRM, known for its fleet of signature white-and-red courier vehicles, has designed a pink van to make the connection. BRM will donate ten cents to Komen Pittsburgh for every mile the vehicle drives, as signified by the slogan “Donation given for every mile driven” displayed on the vehicle. The program will be in effect for as long as the vehicle is in service.
In addition to promoting breast cancer awareness during its scheduled service routes, the vehicle will also be made available for Komen Pittsburgh events such as the Race for the Cure.
“With pickup and delivery routes throughout Pittsburgh and the surrounding area, it will provide plenty of exposure for Komen Pittsburgh for years to come,” said BRM president Steven Wright. “Breast cancer awareness is a message worth sharing, and we’re providing the opportunity.”
“The Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is thrilled that BRM is supporting us through Miles for a Mission,” said Komen Pittsburgh executive director Kathy Purcell. “We are very excited with this new venture and while we hope many miles are driven to raise money to support our mission, we are also hoping to increase awareness as the van travels the many roads in the area.”
