J.H. Bennett Records Management in Erie, PA
ERIE, PA – Business Records Management (BRM), a leader in records management, today announced it acquired the destruction and records storage business of J.H. Bennett Records Management (JHB). Based in Erie, JHB specialized in offsite records storage, computer media and rotation services, in addition to moving and warehousing services and digital imaging.
“BRM prides itself on a long tradition of customer service in the Western PA. region”, said Kevin Carter, Erie District Manager. “As an Erie native I am particularly excited about the opportunity to strengthen existing customer relations, develop new relationships in the market and enhance the strong customer service of the current operation”, said Carter.
In JHB, BRM acquires the largest privately owned records management business in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
BRM announced it was expanding into the Erie market in 2006, when it acquired Records Management Services, Inc. (RMS).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Business Records Management operates facilities in Pittsburgh, Erie and Johnstown. BRM provides information management services to over 3,000 organizations throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and parts of Maryland and New York. Services include Document Storage and Management, Secure Document Shredding, Disaster Recovery, Software Escrow, Backup Tape Storage and Rotation, Email Retention, Imaging and Records Management Consulting.
